I guess it depends on what you consider "often". If you're looking for constant activity like Facebook, this place is not like that. It's a little quiet as far as forums I frequent as well but I also feel while there's less content the content that's here is more often quality. (ex: I go on a lot of forums where people just debate whether this character or that character is gay in a cartoon)
Anyway, welcome, I hope you'll pop in every so often. You could probably get away with just checking once a week or so.
