Highly Sensitive Children...

I've been doing some reading on some behaviors of DD and came across this. What does your kiddo score on the sensitivity chart?

... DD's score was:
20 items were answered TRUE.

dd had 12 answered true, ds is to young for me answer a lot of those correctly

I keep comijng back to this one...mine scored about 13....but I guess, I don't know what I'd do any different knowing this. It's kinda interesting, but I'm not so sure it was worth her writing a book about (of course maybe I should read the book before making that judgement, but I'm not so compelled to yet.)

I don't think it has to do with what we would or wouldn't do differently as much as understanding certain behaviors. It's my understanding that the degree of sensitivity has to do with the central nervous system they are born with.

For me, this has really helped to put into perspective some of daughter's behaviors and has helped my ability to be a little bit more patient with her at times.
