Hi there! My name is Allison. I'm a college student working toward my degree in English. As part of my final research project, I need to survey parents about their reading habits. The basis of the research is to find out how parents can encourage their children to read more.

I have a survey for moms and dads to take. It is only 7 questions, quick and easy for busy parents. Well, hopefully. :)

Also, I have a survey for all elementary age children. If you have a child or children in elementary school, they can take this 5 question survey, with your assistance.

I greatly appreciate your contribution to my research! All of these surveys are anonymous, so no personal information is needed. The questions only pertain to your reading habits and that of your child.

Well, I developed the habit of reading while I was pregnant. My child is just 4, and she loves to hear stories. I think she will also develop the reading habit soon.

I live in the Philippines
My son who is 5 years old has been reading since he was three. He reads different kinds of books for about 5 minutes depending on his mood. When he's not reading, we let him watch educational videos which I think helped in developing his reading skill.

If you want to know more about parenting and baby care I found this website very helpful: http://babycareweekly.com

While my younger one is still finding his way around simple words, the elder has graduated on to Enid Blyton books now and is thrilled to pieces. We've been a reading family; hope it's in their genes too.

My son likes to watch videos and learn and somehow the reading habit is missing. I hope he will develop it soon.

My elder daughter finds reading boring and prefer watching movies. I hope my younger one develops a habit of reading. She is 6 months old now.

The laws of attraction for kids is a good book. I found it very helpful for my 9 and 10 year old.https://f6442extzctxg0fvmfh3pgef4j.hop.clickbank.net/

During the quarantine, children started reading books. We downloaded books on Ipad but they really like to leaf through them and drawing some pictures. The younger one also likes to grab a book and to look at pictures. That's why I buy interactive books with melodies. The older one started to read school literature and it's hard for him to focus. He reads several pages every day, I think it's a success.
I would like to read if you have some recomendation.
