Please read this entire message before submitting support requests

To improve the process of how sites receive assistance from CrowdGather support (CG support), we have created this central location for submitting all support requests. If you are having issues that cannot be resolved by the site staff, please post your request in this forum. This will allow us to respond to issues and will also provide us with a way to keep all site staff updated on the progress of a reported issue.

Use the following steps when responding to site issues:

[Step 1] - If a member has an issue with the site and makes a post in the open help forums, the site staff (Mods/Super Mods) should take the first opportunity to provide a solution. CG support will usually not respond to a member directly unless requested by the site managers or an issue has not received a response from staff for an extended period of time.

[Step 2] - If the issue is beyond what the site staff is able to resolve and it is not of an urgent nature (member cannot login/broken link/image missing/etc), PM a site manager (Super Mod/Admin) or post in the staff discussion forum. If the issue is of an urgent nature (site attack, Excessive spamming), post it directly in the support forum.

[Step 3] - If the site managers are still unable to provide a resolution, escalate the issue by making a post in this forum requesting assistance from CG Support. Use this forum to submit:

<LIST>

 •

 • Bug Reports and site problems

 • If you need an intervention from CrowdGather

 • Suggestions for ways to improve the site

 • Requests to evaluate a plugin or site feature

</LIST>

When a thread is created in this forum, it will also send an email alert to the support department notifying us that an issue has been reported. Any questions regarding the problem will be asked in the corresponding support thread and updates will be provided until the matter is resolved and the thread is closed.

**Note** The support forum is open for posting to anyone that has access to view it, but it's best practice to give the site manager(s) the chance to resolve an issue before making a support request.

The following guidelines will help to ensure the best response to support issues:

<LIST>

 •

 • Limit support threads to one issue per thread

 • Multiple instances of an issue should be posted in the same open support thread

 • If posting about multiple issues, please create a separate thread for each issue

 • Try to be be as descriptive as possible about the problem

 • Detail as many steps to recreate the issue as you can in your report

 • When available, provide links and screenshots

</LIST>

Please limit all posts and discussions in this forum to support issues only. Also, this forum will be used only for requests submitted to CG support. Any announcements from CrowdGather will be made in the general staff forum.

As always, if your matter is private or an emergency (site down more than 5 minutes), you can use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the forum page or you can send a direct message by emailing support@crowdgather.com.

We appreciate your cooperation and for helping CG support provide the best forum experience possible.

Many thanks
