Yay me! I turned 22 today (April 11th). The day was pretty good except that Eli woke up at 4am and wouldn't go back to sleep. :mad: lol but BF got him up and let me sleep. He's such a good guy!! <3 His mom even made me a cake, and she's taking me to the casino tomorrow. I'm excited, but I get carded every five seconds when I'm there. -sigh- :rolleyes:

Happy belated birthday!

I can't even begin to remember what 22 was like...cherish getting carded, take it as a compliment. I actually ot carded a week or two ago, at one of those places that says they card you unless you look over 35...I swear I heard the clerk chuckle after she saw my license.....

Wow that's so funny! Yeah, I guess my mom loves getting carded so hey whatever. It's alright, its not that I don't appreciate continuing to look young, but getting carded makes me feel embarassed that's all.

Not just at the casino or the bar (which I really never go to ever lol) or to buy beer all of which things I have to be 21 to do, that's not so bad because they have to be sure and I know I look young. But that's not where it ends. If BF asks me to pick him up some cigarettes (I don't smoke) I ALWAYS get carded. I don't look 18???? Matter of fact, I sometimes even get the "Umm... yeah right" type of look from them. I feel so dumb when I get him cigarettes, so I always complain when he asks me cause I feel like a 12 year old in there asking for Newports. Ugh.

And you think it ends there to? Oh no. I get carded every time I try to see an R-rated movie. I mean GEEZ!!!! I don't even look SEVENteen??? D:

A consequence of this is that video poker players tend to earn more comps and free wager credits than table players … affording an opportunity to actually play at near break-even odds against the house syndicate , before accounting for food and gifts.
