I got a private message from someone called Buddha. They haven't made any posts, but said "Hi I'm new here, just trying to meet new people". Their signature included a link (which I didn't follow). Anyone know who this person is? Spammer, presumably?

I received a private message from buddha too and googled part of the http address eternity2.psend.com that this person included on their signature. Google returned results as spam on other forums so I would look out for anyone posting that same http address.
I reported here as spam and notice that buddha is now banned.

I got that too and almost replied but i saw under his name to the left it said banned so that's how i knew it was spam.
