I think that's pretty abusive if a parent purposefully does it to a child yeah. Mostly because I don't see what purpose it serves. Small taste in the mouth as punishment for swearing? That would probably be fine.

Seems a bit extreme. I usually take electronics away and assign chores, seems to do the trick.

You should call your local CPS office and ask them if this is abuse. Because it is and your kids would benefit from CPS intervention.

I didn't say it had happened to my kids. I have some hispanic friends who have said that they would do this to their kids. an d i said to them this would be abusive.
