I'm so proud of my girls!

They were in a triathlon last weekend, and did really well.

Erika (age 2): 15 m swim; 500 m cycle; 100 m run
Jadzia (age 5): 25 m swim; 1500 m cycle; 500 m run

Erika had Mummy helping in the pool and Daddy helping with the cycle (i.e. pushing and helping to steer) and run (erm ... walk)

Jadzia was in an older group, so could not have a parent with her on the course, but the volunteers were amazing, and helped them with everything from knowing where to go, to getting their shoes and helmets on after the swim.

They were each the youngest in their age group, but did really well. They were timed (neither of them were the fastest or slowest), but it didn't matter how long they took. Everyone got a medal. Such a great event, and I'm so proud of them!

(Woo hoo! I think I've finally got the pictures sorted out!)

That's great! I love kids getting active and having fun like this. We try to do 5k's with our kids.

Awesome!

Next stop: Iron man :p

Seriously, though - congratulations for raising active, healthy kids. Those are some pretty challenging distances for such little kids! Be proud ;)

LOL, with triathlon, that won't change, even when they're competing in the 60+ age-group one day. You get a medal just for finishing :p

I got it to work here. Using <IMG src="">
with the url for the picture inserted between those two.

Using the photo button... (little yellow square with a couple mountains and a sun in it):

Yep that works too. Try either of those ways. :)

They are adorable.

Your kids did really well. It is great to see that you are so involved in their activities and its nice that you are already getting them into sports. Great going! Kudos to the family!
