Sooo, How long does it take molars to come in?...

I think Brian is getting his first set of molars. He is extremely cranky; gnaws on anything he can and tries to shove what ever he gnaws on as far back as possible; and he is also holding the side of his head on and off.

How long does it usually take for them to break through?

Could be teething, could also be an ear infection. I'd take him in for an ear check just in case.

Oliver is 16 months and popped all 4 molars in about 2 weeks.

Not sure on the first set, the second set is about nine years old, the third is around nine or ten.

I put a call into Brian's doctor and I'm waiting for a call back. At 9 months, it seems implausible that it is his molars considering the ages that others were talking about. He already has all 4 upper teeth and the last two bottom teeth are just breaking through.
