just wondering everyones opinion of spanking?

Hi Stephanie! Personally, I do not believe in spanking, I'm not judging anyone who does. I grew up in a strict household. My parents only had to give me "the look" or raise their voice in a certain way and I knew it was time to stand down lol. There were clear boundaries and I did not cross them. My intent is to do the same with my child (hopefully children if we are blessed with more babies).

Looking for parenting advice like our therapist suggested.

It will not work with my children. I can raise my voice or even shout, but I quickly realized that it has no effect. It's much more accessible to make a remark or some action. I didn't even think about hitting them. I know by myself, it only makes it worse for children. When they see their actions upset me, they stop.
