Hello parents,

As a student studying a Bachelor of Education, I am conducting a research on "What difficulties parents with children with special needs face with mainstream schools/ing?" These difficulties can relate to: the curriculum, teachers, other parents, environment or other aspects.

I have had good luck with my school (Indiana), however I have heard horror stories from my neighboring state (Ohio, two miles away) where educators took a severe dislike to put children on any type of plan. It is obvious to me that it’s much easier to get help and understanding when the schools are properly funded and the principal has a sincere understanding of special needs children. Earl.​
