It is very important to make children a part of every decision we make for them, and this should start right from the beginning as in case of picking a school for them.
It is alright to attach expectations with our children and it is equally fine helping them achieve the targets, but this process should involve them right from the beginning; and, we should be prepared to accept and respect their choices as what matters the most is we love them despite any “very possible and highly likely” errors of alignment between the paths they carve for themselves and the ones we dream for them.
