It's been many years since I've taken care of a baby. One thing I know I never bothered with were those hand socks for infants. Yet, I'm seeing most of my friends, who have babies, put those on their younglings and I just don't understand why. I wouldn't think much of it if it was just a once in a while thing. To each their own. But it's like every picture out of dozens they put up their kids resemble Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny hands. Why don't parents just let their hands go free?

Babies scratch their faces a lot and those scratches can easily get infected, especially if the baby gets a lot of reflux which they tend to get on their face.

In colder weather babies are more susceptible to frostbite.
