Recently it came to my attention that a website called 9GAG finds it hilarious to post pictures of special needs children (Downs Sydrome is typical) and make terrible jokes at their expense. They call these jokes "memes" (pronounced me-me), and apparently feel no remorse when making them. I have found some of the filth to give you an example of their clear disregard for human emotion.
As you can see, the punchline is typically "potato" (?) for some reason. As a father, I was disgusted when I found out my son was frequenting this 9GAG website, especially since I am friends with parents of special needs children, and since he attends school with several.
I took it upon myself to report several images there, and also wrote emails to many of the people who keep the site running, condemning their website and the jokes they make. Please take the time to do the same.
