Hey all, just noticed something i wanted everyone here to be aware of. This applies to the apple iPhone but i'd like someone with an android to test their youtube app for this.

I was watching a you tube (one i wouldn't not want my child to see). The next day I tried to pull up the same video on my computer but you tube asked for my password because it is not suitable for children.

I tested this a bit further and for some unknown reason YouTube's censor features are not functional on the iPhone. Get out your smart phone and type in something you wouldn't want your child to see and you will find its easily accessible. Just a heads up.

I think the point was the censorship setting you can set on your youtube account don't necessarily apply when using iPhone. I think stuff makes it on to youtube to later be taken down...just sayin.

This SHOULD do the trick.

Go to Settings
Choose General
Choose Restrictions
Choose the level of restrictions that you want

Steve Jobs was really anti-porn, and pro-kid, so it makes sense that the iPhone has built-in filtering. I've had an iPhone for several years, but never new they were there.

Great tip!
