Activities for kids during the holidays...

Hello - I am trying to come up with some activities that the kids can do on Christmas Eve. They are patiently waiting to open their gifts, but I want to keep them busy so they'll stop asking me to open presents.

I found this book online that is fantastic. They have some good recipes and activities.

What does your family do during the holidays to keep the kids busy? We have been snowed in this week and the kids are driving me crazy!

Generally, I love to do things with my daughter. We play alot of Candy Land (which I let her win) and Memory (which she kicks my butt without letting her win!). We build forts together, play with playdough, watch movies, and just try to enjoy being together. Now, our new obsession is teaching her sign language, which she's doing a fabulous job at!
