Is that even possible?

I don't know how sperm banks work. But isn't it possible to pick a certain sperm to fertilize a certain egg with 'designer babies'? X chromosome=girl, y=boy. That's what I'm asking, can they tell in those places.

if you go to a sperm bank do you get to pick weather u want boy r girl?

Not a service that my sperm bank provides.. The only thing my sperm bank provides gives you a detailed information on all the donors. You have free access to their medical information, short profile, essays.. You can pay a small fee for like a baby photo of your donor, Keirsey Report & other little fun options like a audio/video interview..

I have heard of designer babies, I don't really think that's a good idea just to be able to <I>choose</I> genders, some people use designer babies to have a genetic match to another family member like a sibling who may have cancer and creating a "designer baby" would make them a complete match for bone marrow, and things like that..

If it was a option, I'd never use it though..
