Most of your sentences contain only contain minor errors. Your Engilsh is quite good, but the sentences are not always phrased the a manner that a typical English speaker would use. I'll pick one for correction and perhaps someone else can help with another. Here's how I would phrase your sentences:
Most of the time, before the start of the formal meeting, people enjoy taking a little time to chat about such topics as the weather, recent holidays, the latest news, etc.
The May 1st holiday is coming. I suggest that we talk about it this week.
Did you go anywhere interesting during the last May 1st holiday?
I went to Sushou on the last May 1st holiday. It was a very nice trip.
I went to Hangzhou for the last May 1st holiday. West lake is amazing. I would like to go there again.
As I said, your English is quite good and some of these corrections are just to phrase the sentence in a manner and syntax that would be more commonly used.
