Domestic Violence...

I know we shouldn't attach links.. so I won't. My Mom was a victim of Domestic Violence. She was killed 7 years ago. I have made a face book page for her sharing her story. My hopes is that if anyone recognizes their selves in it, or someone they know, they read it and get out. If you have a need, its under Nancy's Voice on face book.

My mom was the victim of domestic violence also, only surprisingly he didn't kill her. It wasn't for lack of effort on his part either.

I should say that my step-father wasn't always violent. Brain surgery is when it all came about for him. I loved him, but I did hate him. I always felt bad that my sisters only memories of him are of him violent, I at least got to know him before it all happened. He died a sad and tragic death.

I'm sorry to hear that. It stinks for kids to have to live in it. My Dad was not her abuser, but it was my brothers Dad.
