Personally I have very little concerns what people do in General Chat, I'ved look in there and if they want banter back and forth insulting each other, it is no big deal to me.

I continue to have concerns when a good parenting dicussions in other parts of the forum contains that kind of banter.

Yes. To clarify, I see going off topic being different than what I call "banter". What Fooser and Lissa like do is banter.

If a topic drifts off topic as part of a normal discussion that I see that as perfectly acceptable.

I do think there are limits to what is acceptable even in general chat. Lissa likes to tests those limits as she has done in this post

Not saying the post need to be removed\editing, but this is a parenting forum. If it were a singles forum, then the tolerance for sexual images would be different. What she posted does not bother\offend me, I just questioning how much further we should allow that to go because it is a parenting forum. As example, if that image would have been posted as the original image (hardcore porn) I think we'd all agree that is too much. I think the standard should be well below hardcore porn, not everything but hardcore images.

I'll send her a PM about it. She seems to be receptive to me, or at least she leads me to believe that, unless of course if I am being played. :)

I'll just ask her to avoid posting porn related images, even if they are masked somehow to be cover certain parts.

I think it should be deleted. I am taking serious offence to it right now. If I was on an adult site (must be 18 to enter) then fine, but this is a parenting site and it needs to be gone.

I like Lissa, but either she enjoys pushing the limits from time to time, or she forgets where she's at (a forum for parents) and posts things simply because she finds them funny. I tend to think she forgets.

FYI, I moved some posts (lissa) from the sexuality thread to the random chat because it was random chat. From the user's perspective it might appear the the posts were deleted because the post are missing from that thread, but the if they take a look at their list of posts, they will see where they are now located.

Going forward, instead of deleting random chat that appears in discussion threads, I will move the posts. Posts that of course are inappropriate for the forum will be deleted.

This was a couple hours later so everyone involved had moved on.

If anyone in particular starts screaming bloody murder, their posts weren't deleted, just relocated to another part of the forum where those posts don't distract from the discussion in the main thread.

If they want find their (missing) posts, have them check their list of posts.
