Hi all- My eldest daughter goes to an all girls school and she loves it. Annabelle is a role model for our middle child, Natalie. So, because Annabelle goes to an all girl school, Natalie wants to go to one too. When Annabelle made her decision, a lot went into the process. I want Natalie to think about this too.

How do I show to her that yes, it's important to love her older sister, but she needs to be thinking about what is best for herself when she makes these big decisions?

There is nothing wrong with her wanting to go to an all-girls school because her older sister is doing it. If she wants to do it, and you have no objections, then it IS best for her.

NOTHING is etched in stone. If she changes her mind later, then so be it. There is nothing wrong if she changes her mind, either.

Just take is as it is. That's just the flow of things.
