Hello, my name is Kristina. My daughter Kasey is 6 years old. She has Rett Syndrome, a form of Autism. It is a very severe form. Kasey is confined to a wheelchair, cannot walk, and cannot make any purposeful movements with her hands. She is also fed via tube. She is my whole life. She cannot talk but loves to laugh and make noise. She spends a lot of time in hospital due to breathing problems. Kasey sleeps a lot, and is happiest in the bed. She has a slew of stuffed animals and toys she can't play with. It may seem sad, but I love her there's nothing I wouldn't do for her. Anyway, I joined this forum to get support from other parents...thank you.
