Just plain wierd....

Ok...last night I was in my studio around 9:30pm, and for some reason I went to YouTube and looked up a song I have not heard in about 17 years.

I was turned onto them in my early teens by my best friend and drummer in my first band "Dave". He and I were inseperable until I was about 18, we toured together, and we were both totally addicted to music.

I have not spoken to Dave in about 17 years as well.

Last night I clicked the Plague video, it started playing...the phone rang, it was Dave.

Holy Crap! Totally freaked me out.

That would have left me a little freaked also.

It's actually really odd, because of the significance of that particular song.

It was like our anthem...we listened to Rush, Genesis, Floyd etc...but that tune was something different for us...definitely not for average music listeners, and we were probably the only 2 fans in Toronto at the time.

If I had played any other song last night, it wouldn't have even dawned on me.

I'm still trying to understand how that played out last night.
