It looks like America is trying to adopt the four day work week like they did back in the 80s the last time gas prices spiked.

If you had the option to work four ten hour days instead of five eight hour days would you jump on it? I would love to work three twelve hour days.

I pick and choose when I work so I don't have a problem with any of it. I am just sooooooo glad I never upgraded my van to a Hummer. I was gung ho on that for a while.
I think we ought to fight to use the natural resources we have here in the US.

I telecommute! haha, take that!

With kids, I really don't know if I would want to do 4 10 hours shifts. That's more than half the week that you would barely see your bunchkins.
Without kids I'd be all for it.

That's what I was thinking too. We don't get home till after 7 every night, I can't imagine getting home even later.

It would be nice to have that extra day off though.

Yeah and we would have more money to spend on that extra day off doing fun stuff from not having to pay an extra days worth of gas and tolls.

No, I didn't pffffft you. LOL! I was pfffffting because I wish my DH worked a normal 40 hr. week. That would be awesome compared to the crazy, long hours he works, but that's a whole different thread, and I've already posted about DH being a workaholic, so I'll stop there.
