My daughter loves to hear music really loud, how can I get her to tone it down?

Honestly though, what is very loud to you? I know some people who can't stand music past the first few notches, and that to me is never enough. Also, how old is your daughter? If she's 8, tell her to turn it down cause you said so. If she's 16, let her do it for a little while on her down time with her door closed, then if it goes on for a long time tell her to turn it down. Really, generally speaking, I don't think there should ever be a time with something like this where a parent should have to come up with clever ways to get their kids to do something. Telling them should be all it takes.
