I am seeking advice on 6th grade parenting with homework. Our daughter is bright in math but blows through the homework assignments so that 25% are inaccurate/sloppy/wrong.
Then in correcting it, there's usually tears and a meltdown, and about how stressful it works. The only goal of checking through the homework is to correct the incorrect items and redo the work that's sloppy. She's a perfectionist, and has always been bright in math, but 5th/6th grade math homework has been crushing us.
Is there any advice on this? Thanks in advance!
