emmy has a landform project rubric that she Should do.

we were thinking of using paper mache (?sp?). but wouldn't that be a little heavy for a small 7 yr. old?

does anyone have any really simple and affordable ideas what to use for the base. mess is not a worry. its the cost of materials.

i looked all day yesterday. clay and plaster paris definitely aren't options. couldn't think of anything else that might work.
looks like a messy weekend coming up.
chloe's even going to get in on it and make a mask. lol

Paper-mache is SO much fun!!! I can't wait until Lucas get to do it :).

I don't know where to get it, but some sort of wire-frame would be the best option for building over. Otherwise there is always the old stand-by of balloons!
