Hey guys my name is Branden, I am officially a new father of a wonderful girl, she was born on September 26, 2011, 6Lbs 13oz 13 inches long. Her name is Lailah and means the world to me. I also have a step son who is 8 years old and he's a wild one with severe ADHD, but unlike my wife I am passive the whole way but I lay rules down like a neo-nazi stepfather would.

Welcome to the forum....

I know the new baby girl is fun (I had a new girl on Sept 2) but don't leave the step-son out. If at all possible try to include him in on the caring for his baby sister. When my middle daughter was born our oldest daughter was 7 and she was a big help and enjoyed helping.

I think it helps create a bond between them. Now the 7 year old is 10 she is an even bigger helper with our newest girl.
