Hello everyone. I'm Carolyn. I live in the Phoenix, Arizona area but I am originally from West Texas. I am not a traditional parent in the sense. What I mean is I have two sons that are seventeen years apart. My oldest son is 23 and in the US Coast Guard, and our youngest son is 6. My husband Rick and I adopted him a few years ago when he was a baby. I miss my oldest boy so much since he is stationed on the other side of the country in Florida and is always going on deployments to the Caribbean on drug running interception missions with his ship. Our youngest son is a complete joy as well and I couldn't be happier. My husband Rick is the fire marshall for one of the local fire departments here in the Phoenix area. I am here to learn from everyone and hopefully help with advice, especially with older teenage children and college age kids I suppose.
