New Thread Limit?...

What do you guys think...ever since the "need to have 5 posts before starting a new thread" rule was put in, it seems like we've gotten the same amount of spam users registering, but now they are filling up 5 threads with useless posts before posting their spam, so it seems like it's been counter-productive.

Should we ask to have that removed, so then all we have to do is boot the spammers when they hit?

It was well-intentioned, but I think it's having the opposite effect of what was intended.

Its hard to tell how many did not post at all because of it. I dont know

Yeah, it seems to be making things worse. For the time being, when we ban someone, we should also remove all of their posts so it's not clogging up the threads.

Oh I didn't think of removing all their posts. I'll start doing that too then. If it matters, I'm also all for asking to have this rule removed.
