That is what my little guy has. I went to 4 Dr's before discovering this. My gut kept telling me something wasn't right. Spent all day at clinics before finally getting referred to a specialist. After 2 Ultra sounds they finally discovered it. Anyone who has an infant with constant vomiting or spitting up should get it checked out. My first, second and third Dr told me this was normal. BS!! Its not. Anyways, he's going in for another Ultra sound tomorrow which will most likely result in a surgery to loosen or expand the lower stomach muscle. I'm still learning about this condition. For those interested here is a link.

I had that when I was a wee one. So did Will Ferrel.

I'm sure your little guy will be just fine and I'm glad that you were able to figure it out eventually.

I'm glad you followed your gut instinct and found out what was really wrong!! Surgery sounds SO incredibly scary on a baby, I would be freaking out. But its for the best and I hope he feels so much better after this! Poor little guy. :(

My insides are in knots! Everything I read says the only way to fix this is a surgery. I dont like that but like you said, it is for the best. I dont think I'll sleep tonight. The Dr did tell me that if Mom and I got worried we could bring him in to the emergency room tonight. I'm not sure I want a midnight surgeon. Only reason I'm not there is because the Dr told me we caught it early enough and that its best if we get rest tonight. Yeah right! haha. I'm just thankful we have really good insurance....

Good luck with everything. It's so good that you listened to yourself and got things thoroughly checked out. I'll be thinking about Ryder and mom and dad. Please let us know how things go.

Good luck!

While it isn't normal, I have heard of it quite a few times and all the babies did just fine after the surgery. Babies are resilient little creatures and handle these things much better then us adults.

Good luck. Yeah, I'd agree that hopefully if you didn't get any rest, the surgeon did!

Good job following your instincts and searching for the answer.

I'll be thinking of you and praying for the best today.

I can't see it either.

Our daughter had pyloric stenosis, the medication worked for her though so she didn't have to have surgery, I'm pretty sure we stopped giving it to her when she was just over 9 months, around that time anyway.
