Personally, I never liked homework when I was in school.

Now that I am a parent raising my 4 children on my own I find that when my children get homework there is very little time for anything else. I wish schools would limit education to the classroom so that I could have more time with my children doing things other than homework with them and they could have more time to play and/or be with friends.
I hate homework, both as a kid and now as a parent. Some of the stuff the teachers send is... :chatterbox:

If I ever became president homework is going to be on my agenda for elimination. That along with silent lunch hours. Wow, kids can't even socialize anymore.

Then again like someone said the problem is those of us that push the kids to do the homework, are the people that actually care. Some people just don't even bother to look on their kids backpacks.
