Here's an easy idea for next time:

Cut asparagus about 2" long. Wrap 2 pieces of asparagus and one shrimp in a slice of bacon and use a toothpick to hold together. Put them on a glass cooking sheet (use a little olive oil on the bottom to keep them from sticking.) Lightly dust the top of them with cayene pepper and bake on 350 degrees until the top is crispy and they are done.

Dd helped me make these the other night and she surprised me with how well she was able to put them together. :)
That sounds really tasty, Happy! I'm going to give it a try.

It's one of my favorites. It's very rich though so I usually serve it with my tomato/feta salad on the side (super easy)....

chop tomatoes and cucumber and throw in a bowl
add crumbled feta cheese to the bowl
season with salt, pepper and Paul Newman's Olive Oil & Vinegar dressing
stir
serve

" yumm, I read this thread and my mouth is watering"
Shrimp is one of my favorites as long as its cleaned good and does not taste like iodine.
I couldnt read all the posts because now i think I am hungry.

My favorite shrimp dish is teryaki stir fry or
shrimp on a barbie ( summer time grilling :) with maybe some scallops.
