Stay at home dad with 4yr old...

Hello,
Writing from central Florida
I'm a stay at home dad of a just turned 4yr old
The wife is a engineer and I am getting ready to home school

I have been doing the preliminary stuff and teaching shapes, numbers, letters, etc
But plan to buy a syllabus and maybe find a homeschool group nearby

I joined on on here to ask some questions and maybe learn from others

I will post up a pic of us soon

That is so cute!! I remember when I was in high school and tutored young readers, there was a little sister in one of the students' homes who insisted on getting "her turn." It was so cute. I always read a little story to her too so she wouldn't feel left out!

For 3 she's actually doing pretty well, a few days ago I had her practicing writing the letter A (lower case), she shocked my by doing it, but when I turned my back the A suddenly had hair. It was really funny. She has really good control of a writing utensil.

It's homeschooling but with a structure. It's public school in your house.

I haven't been posting as much because there is so much to read.
It seems like just about every subject matter has been covered already, so I'm almost using this forum as a database rather than a discussion board, lol
