My son who is almost two and a half years old undoubtedly seems to favor his father. I just had our second child a week and a half ago. This pregnancy was really difficult. I couldn't do much the whole nine months. In that time, my son really has began to favor his father. Now that I feel 100% better after the birth of our child, I'm so ready to re-connect with my son; however, he doesn't seem to want much to do with me... Help!

Anyways I think that what is happening is normal. Children tend to form bonds with the parent that they are with a lot. Your husband was taking care of him more then noraml while you recovered. He still loves you more then he ever did and doesn't love you less then dad.
Just keep trying to do things with him and you will get your closeness back

I agree with Kaytee. As time goes by he'll probably switch back and forth with who he favors. Just let him know when he's ready to have some Mom time he can.
Our kids favor Mom because she's the one that currently meets their needs as children. It goes back and forth and kids will change over time.
