Weekend Mod????...

OK, so we're getting a lot of traffic and a nice active member base here. That's a good thing.

The bad thing is that we have 4 mods who are pretty inactive on the weekends. I generally lay off the internet during the weekend (unless it's Xbox Live), Fallon is busy raising 47 children, Xero works, and IADad...well I dunno what the heck people do in Iowa.

So, I'm wondering if we should add a 5th mod under the understanding that they need to be active on the weekend. The first name that comes to mind is Bssage..though I think others would do well too.

Thoughts?

Yeah that sounds like a pretty good idea. I like the idea of bssage too. The weekends are difficult! I always try to check in twice a day on the weekends but I don't spend a lot of time when I do. Like you said, I work, and when I am finally at home I try to hang out with my family.

Its up to you. I don't mind. I would definitely just make it really clear that we are taking another mod on not just in general, but another mod to definitely be here on the weekends.

The only thing I would say though, is that we maybe should not neccessarily post a thread asking who wants to do it. I kinda feel like A: some people felt a tad bit let down by the whole thing (16th ave) and B: I can think of a few people that will ask, and that I don't really want them to ask lol.

I think if you do decide we should have one more, that we should pick who we think might be good first and then just PM them to ask them. If they don't want to, move on to someone else... :)

I agree on the need and Xero's approach, although I'm sure it's an oversite...I'm pretty sure Xero wanted to nominate Jeremy...

Oh, and BTW, mostly we play Euchre all weekend in Iowa...sometime Pinnocle.

Yes, we definately need to nominate Jeremy. On second though, the next time we get a porn poster, maybe we'll just nomiate them instead. :p

Let's get Fallon's thoughts and then proceed if she's onboard.

Pinnocle? Wow, you guys need some decent hobbies.

(sorry, I can't keep up the charade, I don't have an X-box and I've never played Pinnocle in my life...Euchre and Backgammon are my games.)

Back to mod talk, yes we need Fallon's input and instead of waiting for a porn poster, we could just invite the "no kids at work" guy back...

I just looked out my window, to the east, and saw a very faint puff of smoke, oh let's say in the general direction of Erie....I think Raia's head just exploded....

OK...I'm totally on board with whatever you guys think...I'm pretty much of no use to anyone until we get moved. I can only pop in once a day of so. I think Bssage would be a great choice!

Xero - Why don't you take point on this and see if he's interested...or suggest anyone else you think is appropriate. Make sure he or whoever understands that they're primarily needed on the weekends.
