That choked me up. I was out of the military when my kids were born but I still know what it's like to have to leave loved ones. It's tough.

I wont lie, I choked up and my wife came in and thought someone died (I dont cry). It especially hit home for me, I was in Iraq for a while in the Gulf War...two of my kids were born but they were really too young to understand...then I was in Iraq AGAIN in 2003 when all my kids definatly understood what it meant to have a loved one away for a very long time.
