I second the sling as well. Well I didn't use a sling but a baby wrap but loved it and will do the same for number 2!!

I had a baby bjorn and voila! I was able to grocery shop again!

Oh I had one of those baby strap on things! hehe. I loved it, because he got so big so fast and I'm kind of small and not that strong and he for a long time was never happy unless being held and it really helped me. I got a lot more done with it. He fell asleep in it a few times, it was really hilarious cause he would just dangle there. <3
