I'm not creating this thread because I have any particular problem with Lissa, I just have more concern about her as a person. I sent her the following PM to relate a personal story to communicate the concern that jumped out at me when I saw the pictures she posted.

Just becareful, our daughter crawled into the dryer and managed to shut the door. My wife was in the other room and after about 30 second she noticed our daughter was no where to be seen, and it took her another 30 seconds to find our daughter. Nothing bad happened, but my wife was shook up for at least a week after that happened.

Thanks. I was emptying out the dryer and he decided to crawl in. I was right there so nothing could have happened, but I could easily see how it could. He can't open the door so I shouldn't have to worry about anything bad happening as of yet.

I think things are OK with Lissa and several others. They went back and edited their posts as I suggested they do. Fooser, as always, remains a wild card; who knows what he shall do in the future.

I do feel strongly on the issue of Porn talk and images; it is really bad for a forum like this, it attracts people (mainly guys) who want to talk about porn and trolls who see this as a poorly managed forum. Good parents will simply steer clear and never become a member.

I thik we relly need to start using our powers that be. We can't just sit here an BI^%$ all day long about what they are doing wrong. They know better and need to be delt with. If I am the one that has to ban them I will. I need to know why though because I am sure tehy will attack me for it but whatever. This is ridiculous and not worth my time

MM is a significant problem. She can't let things go. Once someone sets her off, she will hound\stalk that person and courages others (Lissa, jssrmom, fooser, 1dayatatime) to do so. If a parent is ganged upon by several members, they are gone from this forum never to return.

To me the issue is not one day of posting porn crap, or one day of going around giving people bad rep, or another day running around trashing threads, the issue is a very small group of people are doing all these things and more every day, trashing the forum, and causing problems consistently. Yesterday was several that were posting porn related garbage throughout the day. I posted some of those comments here. What parent need to be told that posting porn crap is wrong in a parenting forum? they know it's wrong, they just don't care.

Notice the difference between the weekends and week days. Huge difference.

I didn't mean to cause any trouble, really. Just tell me what I did wrong and I won't do it again. Was it the images in the humor thread? I haven't talked to Foos in a very long time so I don't know what you're talking about. You need to tell me what I did. I took down the avatar if it was that that upset you. Again, I'm sorry. If you guys have not noticed but are rate of new active members is dropping. We no longer are getting serious posters who come on with questions. They are all teh same. They are all like Fooser, MM jrsmom (though she is new) and that is the type of people we will continue to get here. No different. Regualr sane parents will be thrown off and the site will not grow any more.
Look this site is not my main concern, however we have all worked hard to keep it going and now it will stop growing

haha...I repleied the same way. I had been out all day on a play date and had no idea what she was talking about. Her PM was actually the fisrt thing I had read just about all day

I know Lissa sent you both this PM. I am inclined to ignore it or say very little. I did clean up the thread by jettisoning all the garbage posts to Random Chat (Moving the posts, not deleting them). I made a mod copy of the thread in the mod forum because it is good example of them playing games in this parenting forum.

When it comes to Fooser, Lissa, MM, 1dayatatime and Jrrsmom, I tend to think they all are just screwing around with each other, and others, and us. They are the top 5 trouble makers in the forum.

If this kind of game play continues, my recommendation would be to pull the plug on all of them at the same time.
