What a tremendous amount of pressure for a SEVEN year old! Is there any way you can homeschool her? She can proceed at her own pace, zoom where she is ready and repeat what is necessary. She can dance around the room singing Geography songs. I still remember seeing our kids do this.

Both kids are teens now and both are very high performers and straight A students in a charter classical school, and a hybrid 2-day-a-week school, respectively. They learned when they were ready, not when the school system decided they should be ready.

This was the best decision for us. At the very least, I'd consider changing schools. A fresh start.
