I know but not all kids can tolerate the whole milk, and not all mothers choice to go this way. I'm really just looking for options that have worked for others when whole milk isn't workingLissa said:Uh....you replace formula with whole milk.
Hm. Well I've heard of soy milk and almond milk. I would rather have Oliver on either of those but they are just too expensive.fallon said:I know but not all kids can tolerate the whole milk, and not all mothers choice to go this way. I would make sure he has exta sources of fat in his diet, such as advocado then it would be fine. They need the fat for brain developement. The brain grows a signifacant amount between 1 and 2fallon said:I was considering sticking to 1% organic...he's a VERY good eater and we eat fairly healthy.
oh yeah...he loves avocado. It's fun to watch him eat them. I buy whole milk once in a great while. I transitioned DebraLyn to whole milk but I never knew why other than that she needed the good fats. I make sure to feed the family brain building fats and whole grains most of the time. We eat very well balanced meals and I buy healthy snacks and lots of fruits and veggies. (We still enjoy the unhealthy stuff too) I guess I'm just thinking that it isn't really necessary to buy whole milk just for him as long as he's getting the nutrition he needs from other placesKaytee said:I would make sure he has exta sources of fat in his diet, such as advocado then it would be fine.
