OMG Please don't give your child milk. Milk is awful! I would never give my children milk, drink it myself, or allow my husband to. lol

I drink 1%, I told hubby (2% drinker) that if he drank 1% I wouldn't make him switch to skim. He agreed. Nichole drinks whole most of the time. She is so tiny that we kept her on whole for now. At least until they stop telling me we have to go for weight checks

My kids drink whole milk, and they eat full-fat yogurt and cheese every day. When they get a bit older we might switch to lower-fat dairy unless they have trouble keeping weight on (not a problem right now - my son is a giant chunk ).

YEa i think its alittle extreme to think that you shouldn't drink milk. There is nothing wrong with milk. There have been hundreds of studies on the goodness of milk. But like mentioned earlier, you don't HAVE to give them cows milk. I've always drank cows milk, and there is no allergy in our famliy to milk, so its just the easiest way for luke to get calcium and fats.
